Great Friends,
We are back with apology.Things have been positively hectic for me here in kenya.Mercy care centre and school has made tremendous stride.
We have many buildings that are being used to accommodate classes.
The Primary and Pre -schoolers now total 415.
The secondary students are now 160 giving us a total population of 575 students. The love shown to this students have never been lost.We have stepped up child evangelism so that the children are nurtured in the word of God.

We purchased two containers which are being used as laboratories. The containers are 40ft long and nine feet high.We are so grateful for this.
The secondary school went for a hike on Ngong hills and will be attempting to climb Mt.longonot about 4,500 meters high. They will need all the strength.

The primary school are competing in a soccerl tornament that will take place near the school.

Thank you all for your prayers and love for MCC

Good to hear from you! We know you have been busy and we are excited to hear about all the progress MCC has made. I climbed Mt. Longonot as a child and received a scar on my face from a thorn bush. We climbed the Mt again in 1999 when we visited MCC. There are wonderful legends that are told of this mountain and the science of a volcano is magnificent. Please encourage the students for us!
Looking forward to hearing more as time allows you!

Megan and Kyle will begin playing soccer in a few weeks. Charley will be their coach.
Love and prayers to all!

Dear Patrick,
Thank you for your update. I am happy to see all the progess you have made and imagine the spreading light that extends to the lives of 575 students and their families and friends! Good progress requires much hard work, so I know how busy you have been. May God continue to inspire your vision and to sustain your strength. May God bless your family, the Mercy Care staff, and all who collaborate in His good work!

i checked the blog last week and there was no news and now there is so much to celebrate.

God is good and everyone from teachers to support staff to ALL the children have been so blessed. learning of God's love is just as important as chemistry experiments in those grand labs !!
there is much to be discovered at any age.

we have been having fun this week with snow. edward now has a little dog which is his because he hit it with his car and the dog nearly got buried in the snow!! no mountain climbing for us but hurray for you and those energetic young people.

a special greeting to my special friend Leah from our lovely banquet time together. smiles and God's rich blessings on each and every one,
