DRAMA COMPETITION!!!

The secondary school and the primary school took part in the drama competition that was held last week. The secondary presented a play and the primary an acted story dance.
They all managed to get first positions in North nairobi Zone.Subsequently they will proceed to the provincial level to compete the other zones. The drama dance and the play depict the violence that was witnessed in the valley. It was full of conflicts and remedies to the conflicts that we think leaders should be able to borrow a leaf.Being part of what they witnessed, they acted as natural as possible.
The sad news this week is that the porridge which serves as breakfast that is provided by feed the children will not be available. But we thank you all for giving us the general funds which will be used to continue with the programme.
All in all we continue to see the effect of your prayers here in Mercy Care Centre.

Great Friends,
We are back with apology.Things have been positively hectic for me here in kenya.Mercy care centre and school has made tremendous stride.
We have many buildings that are being used to accommodate classes.
The Primary and Pre -schoolers now total 415.
The secondary students are now 160 giving us a total population of 575 students. The love shown to this students have never been lost.We have stepped up child evangelism so that the children are nurtured in the word of God.

We purchased two containers which are being used as laboratories. The containers are 40ft long and nine feet high.We are so grateful for this.
The secondary school went for a hike on Ngong hills and will be attempting to climb Mt.longonot about 4,500 meters high. They will need all the strength.

The primary school are competing in a soccerl tornament that will take place near the school.

Thank you all for your prayers and love for MCC
