SECONDARY SCHOOL MAIDEN DAY ON NATIONAL STAGE

The secondary school made their maiden appearance on the national stage today.They had three items to perform for the day and the result was as follows;

Kipsigis folk song class 373B marks 81 number 12 out of 12

Negro spiritual Down by the river Side class 305B marks 84 number 11 out of 16

Sacred own choice-King Of kings class 302 87 marks 10 out of 16

We thank the lord for giving them chance to participate and also learn that it costs a lot of patience and practice to win.This result will be the motivation factor for them to work even harder.

Patrick, Way to go mwalimu! Get a few days rest! Can we put the lab in your office until the rotary grant comes through in October. I think we can get enough money for experiments but not the container! Love and blessings, Carroll

The Secondary Students should hold their heads high. Being a part of a National Competition is a great honor and not something to hang our heads about. Now they have a high goal to reach for. We are amazed at all they and you have accomplished!

Being their maiden appearance at the nationals, I believe that the experience will be an extra stone in their sling next time.As the teacher in charge I congratulale them for having fought and lost honourably.But then I am optimisic that the baby will be mature enough to walk and run the next music fesivals in Mombasa,to paraphrase the words of Kagendo.
Samuel.

Samuel,
You have done well and learning how to be honorable is a great life lesson you are teaching them. Thank you for all your hard work with the students. Please keep it up!

Congratulations to all involved for a job well done. I think that Samuel's quote was right on the mark. (I don't who Kegendo is but plan to find out as I might learn a thing or two from him myself).

Frances and those who assisted him (such as Lillian, etc.) did an excellent job with such a new group. Be assured that your efforts are appreciated and will be rewarded with good results later.
Patrick pass this message of appreciation along to the staff in case some do not read the blog.
